Department of Industrial Technology

This project aims to develop a representative Chinese e-Reading service platform. Its goal is solving the Chinese e-Reading technologies issue to provide high value-added innovative service, core component and system.

Providing a common format conversion and Chinese distributed semantic analysis techniques from rich and diverse resources like the commercial digital publishing, user generated content and digital archives content ; Providing highly interactive learning and reading experience using speech evaluation and situational conversation for Mandarin Chinese, this project leads the industry developing the innovative applications with wisdom to read the Chinese e-Reading services and mobile internet services to carry out new internet-based services and create business opportunities.

Research interests are as follows: Chinese content confluence and search, seamless content conversion, conversation learning technology in simulated situation for Mandarin Chinese, listening and pronunciation training technology for Mandarin Chinese and embedded learning technology.
